Sam Warburton returns for Cardiff Blues
September 24, 2013
British & Irish Lions skipper Sam Warburton will make his comeback from injury for the Cardiff Blues this Friday.
The news will come as a huge boost both for the region and Wales as they start preparing for the November Tests. Warburton tore his hamstring during the Lions' second Test against Australia and was not due back for about another couple of weeks.
But he has confounded the medics and Blues coach Phil Davies told reporters on Tuesday Warburton is in the mix to face Leinster on Friday.
