Dragons send unwanted prop to Coventry

Prop Tim Ryan has ended his Newport Gwent Dragons contract a season early and signed for Coventry.
Ryan, 29, was signed from Cavalieri Prato last summer but failed to make a mark at Rodney Parade and it has been reported Newport were preparing to terminate his contract anyway.
Irish-born Ryan played only eight matches for Newport and his only start came against Italian side Mogliano in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
