Harries made his Test debut for Wales with a lively cameo off the bench against New Zealand in Hamilton in 2010. The Cardiff-born wing spent time with both Northampton and Bedford before returning to Wales with the Dragons, where he made an impact as one of a number of young players at the region to be pushing for Test honours. He had already represented Wales at Sevens level at regular intervals between 2008 and 2010.
