Melbourne Rebels duo Danny Cipriani and Kurtley Beale and Wallabies fly-half Quade Cooper have reportedly been involved in a car crash on Friday evening. Reports in the Sydney Morning Herald claim that the trio were en route back to Cipriani's house when the car failed to round a bend in the road and hit a parked car. The newspaper claims that no one was injured in the accident. Cooper is recuperating from a knee injury sustained in last year's World Cup and Reds chief executive Jim Carmichael dismissed concerns over Cooper's conduct saying: ''Until Quade Cooper does something that isn't right, I take the view that they are … still young men who go out." Carmichael was said to be unaware that Cooper was involved in the accident but claimed he had given the fly-half permission to stay in Melbourne because he was not needed for the Reds opening fixture with the Waratahs due to his injury. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
