Blair ruled out of WP game
June 13, 2009
The Lions' replacement scrum-half Mike Blair has been withdrawn from the Lions match with Western Province on Saturday.
Blair sprained a ligament in his foot in training on Friday which failed to settle adequately overnight and therefore the management have opted not to risk him.
Mike Phillips is recovering from the midweek game against the Sharks therefore Mike Blair's place on the replacements bench has been taken by Shane Williams who will cover the scrum half position.
