Matt Todd called into All Blacks squad
June 2, 2014
New Zealand selectors have called Matt Todd nto the All Blacks squad as injury cover for Sam Cane ahead of the first Test against England at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday.
Cane strained his right knee during the Chiefs' loss to New South Wales Waratahs at the weekend, and All Blacks coach Steve Hansen will make a final decision about the flanker's fitness later in the week.
Todd has not played since May 5, however, and he is still recovering from a calf tear sustained in the Crusaders' victory over Brumbies.
