From best to worst? Bulls voted wooden spooners
February 27, 2014
The Bulls slumped to a second defeat in a disappointing game against the Cheetahs (Australia Only)
South African fans have voted South Africa's most successful Super Rugby side to be the worst finishers this year. Sport24 readers have spoken and the Bulls have been tipped as the Wooden Spooners for the 2014 season.
The majority of readers chose the Bulls to finish in last place after the side had a horror start to the season, slumping to defeats against the Sharks and the Cheetahs. The Stormers finished as the second most likely team to finish bottom of the pile following their hapless display against a resurgent Lions team.
Despite the Lions shocking rugby critics everywhere with two consecutive victories, the side still couldn't convince voters, finishing third in the poll.
