Lions flanker Michael Rhodes has been cited for a dangerous tackle and late charge during the Super Rugby clash with the Stormers in Johannesburg at the weekend.
Rhodes will appear before a SANZAR judicial hearing on Monday and answer the charge that he charged into Stormers' Conrad Jantjes late after the fullback had made a clearance kick.
The hearing will take place at the Golden Lions Rugby Union headquarters in Johannesburg and will be chaired by judicial officer Peter Ingwersen.
First-half tries by Danie Poolman and Jaque Fourie proved decisive for the Stormers as they bounced back from a first loss of the season seven days ago to record a 33-19 win over the Lions.
