The Sharks have announced the signing of fullback Riaan Viljoen from the Griquas. The 28-year-old goal-kicking fullback, who has been capped twice by the Springboks, started his career in Durban, progressing through the Sharks' Under-19 and Under-20 sides before joing the Falcons in 2005. Viljoen then moved on to the Griquas and it was there that he began to excel, making his Super Rugby debut with the Cheetahs in 2009 before earning himself a place in the South Africa squad for the end-of-year tour of Europe. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
