Ireland scrum-half Peter Stringer will join a second Aviva Premiership club on loan next month.
The 34-year-old Munster No.9 is currently on loan at Saracens but will move to Newcastle when his existing deal ends. He will be available for relegation-threatened Newcastle's league games from mid-March, and remain at Kingston Park for the rest of this season.
Stringer moved to Saracens in December, providing scrum-half cover following injuries to Richard Wigglesworth and Neil de Kock but with both now fit, he is now surplus to requirements.
Saracens rugby director Mark McCall said: "Peter has been a brilliant addition to the squad, on and off the field. We are sorry his three-month loan spell will come to an end after our match against Northampton on March 4."
