Glyn Davies was a brilliant Welsh fly-half of the immediate post-war years, a mercurial talent blessed with an elusive running style, who won 11 caps for Wales. His first appearances were in two Victory Internationals in 1946 while he was still a schoolboy, before his first Test cap against Scotland in 1947.
