Utility back Sam Vesty took the road less travelled in 2010 when he left Leicester Tigers to join rivals Bath after 164 matches for the English giants.
Having attended Cleveland College, Vesty joined Leicester's under-age set-up and progressed through the ranks at Welford Road. Incredibley, he represents the fourth generation of his family to wear the green and red, after his father, grandfather and great-grandfather also donned the famous shirt. Vesty was also a talented cricketer at youth level.
He made his debut for the Tigers in 2001 against Biarritz and his ability to play at fullback, outside-half and centre saw him used all over the backline during his time at the club. His form saw him rewarded with two caps for England in 2009, both against Argentina off the bench.
He played at U-18 and U-21 level for his country, while he has also worn the white jersey for the Saxons. An all-round footballer, Vesty joined England skipper Lews Moody in moving to Bath.
