Brumbies in South African restaurant rumpus

Australia's ACT Brumbies caused a rumpus in a Cape Town restaurant at the weekend when they started fighting among themselves hours after trouncing South Africa's Stormers at a Super 12 fixture, claims a South African news agency.
Chairs and tables were upset and the security guards were called. At least one patron was struck by a flying table, but was not injured. The fight started shortly after midnight on Saturday after the team had placed their orders at the Kuzma restaurant in the city's Rondebosch suburb.
"Their minder quickly paid the bill and left with the men before security arrived," restaurant owner Bert Grobler said.
Brumbies manager Phil Thompson said afterwards: "Whatever went on was just playful and in good spirits. "They were thrilled to win for the first time on South African soil and their high spirits got the better of them. "They were brought back to earth after a practise session on Sunday morning and we worked on any remaining hangovers."
The Australians beat the Western Cape team 29-15 on Saturday. They are due to play the Northern Bulls in Pretoria next Saturday.
