Tournaments/Tours: South Africa tour

Scotland will go into Saturday's match with the Springboks hoping for a similar performance to the last time the pair met.

Despite having lost 11 of their last 13 meetings with the Boks, they beat the South Africans in their last encounter back in 2010. In a match played in atrocious conditions, Dan Parks nailed all of Scotland's 21 points with the boot as they ended the Boks' hopes of a Grand Slam tour to the northern hemisphere having beaten Ireland and Wales the previous weekends. It was one of Andy Robinson's greatest wins during his Scotland tenure and he will be hoping for more of the same on Saturday.

But the fixture has been traditionally dominated by the southern hemisphere side. They silenced Murrayfield back in 1998 with a powerful 68-10 victory with Scotland's other recent win coming back in 2002 when they downed the Boks 21-6.

And Saturday's match will be the 22nd meeting between the two sides following their original meeting back in 1906 which Scotland, playing in Glasgow, won 6-0.
