Van Niekerk agrees new Toulon deal

Joe van Niekerk has agreed a two-year contract extension with Top 14 big-spenders Toulon.
The 31-year-old hopes to end his career at the Stade Mayol, having made the switch to France in 2008.
Capped 52 times by South Africa - most recently against Wales at the Millennium Stadium in 2010 - van Niekerk has become a cult figure since joining Toulon, where he is currently captain.
Before moving to France, the back-rower turned out for the Cats and Stormers in Super Rugby.
"Since my arrival, I've loved this club," he told Var Matin. "I wanted to continue the adventure."
