The 21-year-old sat out the Lions' loss to the Sharks with a foot injury and while coach John Mitchell was optimistic that Jantjies would be back sooner rather than later, reports in The Beeld claim that a further prognosis has deemed his injury to be more serious than previously thought. The Lions are without a host of players are the moment with Pat Cilliers sidelined with a stomach bug and props JC Janse van Rensburg and CJ van der Linde out for six and three weeks respectively.
