Botha to quit Ulster

BJ Botha will leave Ulster at the end of the season

Ulster have confirmed that they will lose South African prop BJ Botha at the end of the season. The 31-year-old tight-head has played 25 Tests for the Springboks and joined Ulster in 2008, from the Durban-based Sharks Super Rugby franchise. Botha is currently sidelined by an elbow injury and is hoping to return to action in time for Ulster's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Northampton in April. Reports in the Irish press suggest that he may make the switch to Munster, although the lure of a return to South Africa in a Rugby World Cup year may be a factor in his decision. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
