France had too much in the tank for Argentina 'A' in a warm-up game for their forthcoming meeting with the Pumas, running out comfortable 37-14 winners. France flew out of the blocks and were too powerful for the hosts, who lost skipper Alberto Vernet Basualdo to injury in the first period, running up a 25-0 lead before easing off. Clermont Auvergne wing Julien Malzieu led the way with two tries whil his back-three cohorts, Perpignan fullback Jerome Porical and Castres wing Marc Andreu, were also on the scoresheet. Gregory Lamboley completed the scoring for the tourists, while fly-half David Skrela landed a pair of penalties and three conversions. The hosts managed two tries of their own, to winger Martín Bustos Moyano and No.8 Miguel De Achaval. The Pumas take on Scotland in Mar del Plata on Saturday, looking to halve the series. © Scrum.com
