Profile

One of rugby's most colourful characters, Guazzini is the president of Parisian club Stade Français. Since taking the reins in the early 1990s he has helped to develop one of the game's most recognisable brands, with the team's garish kits, nude calendars and outrageous Stade de France spectaculars helping to raise their profile off the field.

In 1982, he founded private music radio station NRJ and remained involved until 2004, by which time he had been involved with Stade since 1992 - aiming to bring top class rugby back to the capital. Stade merged with the Comitie Athletic St Germain club in 1995 and rose through the leagues under the tutelage of Bernard Laporte, clinching Top 14 glory in 1998.
