Toby Flood is a doubt for England's final autumn Test against New Zealand next Saturday after suffering a foot injury. Flood suffered the injury during England's 16-15 defeat to South Africa on Saturday and reportedly left Twickenham with his right foot in a protective boot. A subsequent X-ray revealed that he had not broken a toe but he remains a doubt for England's clash with the All Blacks next weekend. Flood's injury will be reassessed by the England medics on Sunday evening, when a decision over the need for any further scans will be taken. "It doesn't look great," Flood wrote in his column for the Mail On Sunday. If Flood fails to recover in time, Owen Farrell, who replaced him during the South Africa clash, is set to deputise while Gloucester fly-half Freddie Burns could be added to the England bench. Farrell replaced Flood after 47 minutes at Twickenham while Burns, who kicked 19 points in Gloucester's 29-3 Aviva Premiership win against Sale, has trained with England during the autumn. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
