Greig Laidlaw is a lively scrum-half who plays for Edinburgh.
Laidlaw, nephew of legendary Scotland scrum-half Roy Laidlaw, began his professional career with Edinburgh in 2006, making his debut against Leinster in the Magners League.
His first-team opportunities were limited at Edinburgh behind Scotland scrum-half Mike Blair, but in 2010 he signed a new two-year deal with the Scottish side. After stint with the Scotland sevens and under-21 sides, he made his full Scotland debut against New Zealand at Murrayfield in November 2010. In January 2011 he was called up to Scotland's Six Nations squad and although he did not get any game time he was retained in Andy Robinson's 40-man squad ahead of the World Cup.
Following Dan Parks' retirement, he was given the No.10 shirt for the rest of Scotland's matches in 2012. However he reverted back to his preferred position of scrum-half for Scotland's 2013 Six Nations campaign and showed enough form to put his in contention for a place in the British & Irish Lions squad for Australia.
