Gregor Townsend is set to take over from Sean Lineen at the end of the season as head coach of the Glasgow Warriors, according to reports.
With Andy Robinson opting to bring in former Ospreys supremo Scott Johnson as 'senior assistant coach', question marks surrounded the future of attack coach Townsend within the set-up. A press conference has been called for 1400 GMT on Monday where it is believed that Townsend will be announced as the new head coach of the Warriors with Lineen retained within the Scottish Rugby Union's set-up.
The Warriors have impressed thus far in the RaboDirect PRO12 lying fourth in the league and look set for a charge at the play-offs. But - similar to Ulster - Glasgow will have a new man at the helm for next season.
Reports in the Scotsman claim that Townsend will be aided by Scotland's new defence coach Matt Taylor - who has been recruited from the Queensland Reds. The newspaper also reports that Shane Munro is set to continue as forwards coach.
