Italy prop Martin Castrogiovanni looks set to miss the rest of the Six Nations after sustaining a rib injury against England on Saturday. The Tigers prop was forced off in the 33rd minute and tests have now confirmed that the tight-head has broken his ribs. The news will come as a massive blow to Jacques Brunel's side with Castrogiovanni an indispensable member of the Azzurri. Brunel confirmed that Castrogiovanni is likely to miss the rest of the tournament saying "it will be difficult for him to recover in time for the other matches". Italy visits Ireland on February 25, and Wales on March 10, then plays host to Scotland a week later. The 30-year-old Castrogiovanni has 44 caps for Italy and has missed just two Six Nations games since 2004. © ESPN EMEA Ltd
