Former Wasps centre Fraser Waters will make his Heineken Cup bow for Italian side Benetton Treviso against Perpignan on Friday night. Waters, a former Heineken Cup winner with the London side, will add ballast to the Treviso midfield alongside impressive Italian youngster Andrea Marcato, who starts at outside-half. Perpignan will enter the match as heavy favourites, and they field an impressive side. Scotland international Chris Cusiter starts at scrum-half while England prop Perry Freshwater packs down in an all international front-row alongside Romanian hooker Marius Tincu and Nicolas Mas of France. Perpignan, quarter-fianlists last time out, will have home advantage and need to get off to a good start in a competitive pool also featuring Leicester Tigers and the Ospreys. They will be boosted in the later group stages by the arrival of All Black Dan Carter, and will want a solid platform on which to unleash their star performer.
