Rabeni set for return to judiciary

Leicester centre Seru Rabeni must appear before a disciplinary hearing on Thursday after being accused of playing while suspended. Fiji international Rabeni was given a 14-week ban for making illegal contact with the eye area of Saracens hooker Andy Kyriacou on March 15. But he is alleged to have appeared in three sevens tournaments during his suspension and has been charged with three offences of conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game. If found guilty by the Rugby Football Union hearing, Rabeni could miss the start of the season for Leicester. |
