Strong Vikings side awaits Scotland in tour opener

A mix of ex All Blacks, Super 12 players and World Sevens stars will line up in Whangarei on Friday June 9 to greet the Scots.
The side will be skippered by local hero, ex All Black and current Chiefs skipper Glenn Taylor. He will play alongside fellow Northlanders Hayden Taylor, Tony Monaghan, Justin Collins and Tim Knight. In addition, Jared Going , Nick White and Jason Hammond on the subs bench.Other ex All Blacks in the squad are Scott McLeod, Con Barrell, Mark Robinson and Charles Reichelmann and Xavier Rush, whilst Todd Miller was a New Zealand tourist to the UK in 1997. The squad will be co-coached by ex-Auckland coach Maurice Trapp and current Northland coach Bryce Woodward.
