South African Stormers flyhalf Braam van Straaten has been cleared of foul play in Sunday's Super 12 clash with the Chiefs, after facing a New Zealand Rugby Union judicial hearing on Monday.
Van Straaten, who scored 13 points with the boot in the Stormers's 28-25 victory in Pukekohe, was involved in a fight with Chiefs' loose forward Koula Tukino midway through the first half.
Van Straaten was cited after the game while Tukino was sinbinned for throwing a punch.
While Tukino was off the field, the Stormers scored 10 points - including three for van Straaten from the resulting penalty.
