Moore and Warner included in Waratahs line-up
Sydney
March 1, 2000

World Cup prop Rod Moore and utility back Christian Warner were included on Wednesday in the New South Wales team to play the Northern Bulls in Saturday's Super 12 match in Pretoria.

Moore replaced Cameron Blades at tight head while Warner was promoted to the starting team ahead of inside centre Marc Scherbina.

Waratahs' lock John Welborn was also chosen to play after being cleared by a South African disciplinary hearing of trampling in last weekend's 22-15 loss to the Stormers in Cape Town.

Moore made his test debut for Australia against the United States in last year's World Cup after being called in as a late replacement for the injured Patricio Noriega.

NSW team - 15-Matthew Burke; 14-Scott Staniforth, 13-Jason Little (captain), 12-Christian Warner, 11-Matt Dowling; 10-Manuel Edmonds, 9-Chris Whitaker; 8-Tiaan Strauss, 7-Phil Waugh, 6-Stuart Pinkerton, 5-Peter Besseling, 4-John Welborn; 3-Rod Moore, 2-Brendan Cannon, 1-Richard Harry.
