SRU rearrange Cup games
Edinburgh
February 15, 2000
Giant killers Strathendrick will have to wait to find out who they will face in the semi final of the BT Cellnet Cup as the SRU has confirmed that the three outstanding quarter finals will be played the week before the semi finals. Two of the quarter-finals were forced into postponement by snow at the weekend and both games, Boroughmuir against Stirling County and Gala versus Selkirk will now be played on the day after the Scotland v. France game, Sunday 5th March. The Melrose against Glasgow Hawks tie will also be played on that date. The competition has been ravaged by difficult weather conditions over the past three months and the SRU will be hoping that spring will be here before the 5th March! |
