Cuttitta gets a recall
February 3, 2000
Italy have recalled their 33-year-old former captain Massimo Cuttitta for Saturday's Lloyds TSB Six Nations Championship opener against Scotland in Rome.
Ex-Harlequins prop Cuttitta, who missed out on World Cup selection, has been brought back into the pack by new coach Brad Johnstone.
He is among five changes up front to the side beaten by Tonga last October, but World Cup captain Massimo Giovanelli keeps his place.
The back division includes five French based players, notably half-backs Alessandro Troncon and Diego Dominguez, but experienced wing Paolo Vaccari is sidelined by a knee injury.
