Super 12 title chasers meet in Southern Cross

In the traditional lead up competition to the Super 12, The Southern Cross tournament, the defending champions Canterbury Crusaders will join fellow title contenders the Blues, Waratahs and Reds.
Two-time champions Crusaders and Blues will meet last year's semi-finalist Reds along with the Waratahs.
The final game between the Crusaders and Reds will be played just a week before the Super 12 starts and there will plenty of interest in this already established Super 12 curtain raiser.
The opening round of the tournament will see all four teams play in a double header at the Sydney Football Stadium before the Waratahs and Blues meet midweek before the final game the following Saturday at Timaru.

Feb 12 - Queensland v Auckland, Sydney Football Stadium, 6.00pm
Feb 12 - Waratahs v Canterbury, Sydney Football Stadium, 8.00pm
Feb 16 - Waratahs v Auckland, Graham Park, Gosford, 7.30pm
Feb 19 - Queensland v Auckland, Timaru, Kick-off to be announced
