Cronin announces his retirement

Former Garryowen, Munster and Ireland No.8 Ben Cronin has been forced to announce his retirement from the game due to a shoulder injury.
The 31 year old, who won two Irish caps, in 1995 and 1997 had also in the past played for Waterpark and Orell was a very talented footballer who was an integral part of the Munster team for many years.
It greatest triumph was as part of the Munster side who beat Australia at Musgrave Park in 1992.
