Neil Jenkins has warned Cardiff to be on their guard against Italian champions Treviso at the weekend.
The Welsh fly half, who has been named as the first Western Mail/Welsh Rugby Union International Player of the Year, has only played two games for his new club as a result of World Cup commitments and injury - and although fit may not start against the Italians as after Paul Burke's fine form over the past few weeks.
The world record points scorer has lost against the Italians in the past, playing for Pontypridd last year when they went down 33-19 in the European Cup.
In fact Welsh side has won in Treviso in the competition and as Jenkins asserts "It is a difficult place to win. Treviso are a good side. They are very tough to play against. There are no frills with them - you know what approach they are going to adopt.
"We are going to have to lift our game, but we are capable of coming home with a positive result.
"Treviso will probably have a different attitude to what they had in Cardiff. It was hard to judge them on that because of conditions."
