New Zealand Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has been reappointed coach of NPC second division Bay of Plenty for the sixth successive year.
Tietjens has coached the Bay to 2 NPC second division finals in the past 5 years and was appointed ahead of 12 other candidates.
Also on the coaching merry-go-round, Former All Black skipper Sean Fitzpatrick has refuted claims made in the British press that he has been offered the job of coaching Stade Francais by their owner Max Guazzini.
Fitzpatrick has made it plain that he is still contracted to the NZRFU and is not seeking an overseas coaching post.
