Constitution keep it in the family as title defence opens
Cork
December 2, 1999

Irish Champions Cork Constitution will have three sets of brothers in their side when they open their defence against Buccaneers in Ballinasloe, on Saturday.
Cain Mahony who missed Munster's trip to Saracens last weekend will be in the centre alongside brother Conor. While in the pack, new signing Mick O'Driscoll, formerly of UCC, will be in the second row behind older brother. The third set of brothers Donncha and Ultan O'Callaghan will both start in the second row.
Con are able to field 11 of the side who played in last May's successful league play off final side, but one notable absentee is David Corkery. The veteran Ireland flanker is a long term injury worry, but with a player of the calibre of the younger O'Callaghan, former Irish schools cap Donncha, to take his place coach Michael Bradley will have few worries.
Like Cian Mahony hooker Frankie Sheehan also returns to action for Conn. after missing last weekend's trip to London with Munster.
