Swansea look to improve defence
Swansea
December 1, 1999

In the wake of last weekend's 46-3 mauling by Toulouse Swansea coach John Plumtree is turning to rugby league guru and London Welsh coach Clive Griffiths to work on his sides defence.
Griffiths will work with the squad before they resume their European campaign with two games against Bath on the 11th and 18th December.
"I've got a lot of respect for Clive and he has a reputation for his defensive methods," said Plumtree.
Meanwhile the All Whites entertain Bridgend on Saturday and the coach will be looking for an improvement in the average of over 3 tries a game that they have conceded in recent weeks.
However good news for the all whites is that both Rhodri Jones and Paul Arnold (pictured) could be back playing in the next few weeks.
Jones who had a broken arm should feature in the squad for Saturday's game while Arnold, who is back to full fitness after nearly a year out of action due to a shoulder injury may be back for the European double header with Bath.
