N'tamack named in French side
Slough
October 28, 1999

France have included centre Emile Ntamack in their side for Sunday's semi-final clash with New Zealand, but his fitness is still in doubt.
The Toulouse player injured his knee in last weekend's quarter-final win over Argentina and has been receiving treatment ever since. Yesterday the French team doctor said the injury was improving but that Ntamack was still in pain.
Stephane Glas has been put on stand by should the converted winger fail to recover in time.
The side shows on change from the line up that started against the Pumas with second row Fabien Pelous returning from suspension to replace Oliver Brouzet. "Even if Fabien didn't play in our quarter-final win over Argentina, he deserves to be chosen for this game," said French coach Jean-Claude Skrela. "He is indispensable."
Team: Xavier Garbajosa; Philippe Bernat-Salles, Richard Dourthe, Emile Ntamack, Christophe Dominici; Christophe Lamaison, Fabien Galthie; Christophe Juillet, Olivier Magne, Marc Lievremont, Fabien Pelous, Abdelatif Benazzi, Franck Tournaire, Raphael Ibanez (capt), Cedric Soulette
