NZRFU Chief Executive David Moffett as been appointed as head of Australian rugby league organisation, the NRL.
His appointment coupled with the recent comments of Australian Rugby Union boss, John O'Neill, who suggested that League would eventually disappear because of its lack of global appeal, have set in motion some very interesting speculation.
