Young out for six weeks

David Young, who was injured, and replaced by Ben Evans, during the World Cup quarter final defeat by Australia is set to miss Cardiff's opening European cup fixtures after the injury was diagnosed as a torn calf muscle.
"The biggest disappointment is that Europe is only four weeks away and I'm obviously going to miss the start of that. I was pretty low on Saturday night, but I've got to look at the positive side and get myself right for Cardiff and hopefully for Wales in the Six Nations."
Cardiff face three Welsh/Scottish Premiership fixtures and a Welsh Cup third round tie before opening their European campaign at home against Harlequins on the weekend of 19th-21st November
