Injury problems continue for Springboks
Edinburgh
September 26, 1999

South Africa's injury hit year continued on Saturday as three players required attention after their first training session.
First Pieter Muller was forced to sit out the whole session with a back strain and then a clash oh heads resulted in eight stitches in a head wound for Krynauw Otto and a badly bruised eye for Andre Vos.
Although there are concerns amongst the squad over Muller's (pictured) availability for Sunday's opening game against Scotland both Otto and Vos should be available for selection.
There are also still worries over Bobby Skinstad, who is well short of match fitness and Brendan Venter, who underwent surgery on his shoulder in August.
