The pre-match haka is a feature of New Zealand rugby which people either love or hate, advocates insisting it is as traditional as the sport itself, critics that it is little more than an antagonistic anachronism.
What is not in doubt is that the efforts of the pupils of long-standing rivals Auckland Grammar and King's College takes this to a new level, with hundreds of them joining in ahead of a recent match between the schools.
Auckland Grammar were clearly not overly intimidated as they went on to win 27-15.
