Ireland leapfrog Wales in world rankings
February 10, 2014
Ireland climbed one place to sixth in the latest IRB World Rankings, leapfrogging Wales, who they beat on Saturday in Dublin.
England's easy 20-0 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield strengthened their position in fourth and France remained fifth after beating Italy.
The only other significant change came as Spain - 11-6 winners over Belgium in Madrid in the European Nations Cup - rose to 21st while the Belgians slip to 28th.
