Robbie Coleman is hopeful of returning from injury in the Brumbies' Super Rugby clash with the Melbourne Rebels on Friday night.
The promising fullback has been sidelined with a groin problem since their opening-round victory over the Western Force.
The Brumbies are the surprise leaders of the Australian conference and would welcome Coleman back into the fray - after back-to-back losses to the Sharks and Reds - although he could face a stern challenge to reclaim a starting berth from the in-form Jesse Mogg.
''It's been tough sitting on the sidelines watching the boys over the last few weeks, especially with the close games,'' Coleman told The Sydney Morning Herald.
''But it's definitely coming along well … I've got to [get through] each day and each training. I'll know a bit more after [Monday] and a bit more after Tuesday and keep working from there.''
