Wales forward coach Robin McBryde has agreed a contract extension until the end of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
The 41-year-old, who has been involved with the national team set up since 2006, joins the rest of the Wales' Grand Slam winning coaching team on long-term contracts. McBryde acted as Wales caretaker coach in 2009 when head coach Warren Gatland was away with the British and Irish Lions.
And he could be in contention to take on that role again should Gatland be appointed as the Lions head coach for their tour to Australia in 2013.
"I'm pleased to say we've concluded matters with Robin over the course of the past few weeks and Robin will be with us right the way through to the World Cup in 2015," said Welsh Rugby Union chief executive Roger Lewis.
"I took advice from the coach - it's what Warren wants and who does he want around him. He wanted Robin with him until 2015 so I went and got that and sorted it out."
Gatland and defence coach Shaun Edwards are contracted to the WRU until the end of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, while backs coach Rob Howley is tied-up until mid-2016 and kicking coach Neil Jenkins has also signed a long-term contract.
