Smith joins Stade Francais

Former Australia and Toulon flanker George Smith flanker has joined Stade Francais.
The 31-year-old will make his return to Europe nine months after leaving Toulon for Japan where he recently won the national championship with Suntory.
Smith has joined the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finalist as a mreplacement for the injured Lei Tomiki, who will miss the rest of the season.
Stade Francais play Exeter Chiefs in the last eight at Stade Charlety on Thursday April 5.
