Newcastle Falcons have announced the signing of Jamie Helleur on a one-year deal from Auckland.
The 27-year-old centre, who was born in New Zealand but has been capped four times by Samoa, will arrive at Kingston Park in the summer and Falcons head coach Alan Tait believes that Helleur has the ability to make a big impression in the Aviva Premiership.
"This is a sign of intent from the club," he said. "Jamie is a quality player and he will be a great addition to the squad."
