Sale No.8 Sisa Koyamaibole has been suspended for two weeks for kicking Saracens scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth, a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel has announced.
His ban means he must miss Friday's Amlin Challenge Cup clash with Petrarca and the Sharks' match against Cetransa El Salvador in the same competition on Saturday, January 22.
The incident occurred during Sale's 28-22 victory over Saracens at Edgeley Park on January 2, and was reported by independent citing officer Matt Bayliss.
The three-man RFU panel chaired by Antony Davies sat on Tuesday night in Haydock and Fijian Koyamaibole pleaded guilty to the offence.
