2003
For the second week in a row the All Blacks ran up fifty points away from home in the Tri-Nations, defeating Australia 50-21 at Stadium Australia where Carlos Spencer kicked 13 points and Joe Rokocoko became the first player to cross for a hat-trick in a Tri-Nations Test.

2008
Australia went top of the Tri-Nations table with two wins from two matches after defeating New Zealand 34-19 in Sydney. Fourteen points from the boot of Matt Giteau brought the Wallabies their biggest Tri-Nations win against the All Blacks for nine years.

1930
New Zealand took a winning 2-1 lead in their series with the Lions after winning the Auckland Test 15-10. The 1930 tour was the twelfth by a British Isles team and the fifth to New Zealand and Australia. This tour is recognised as the first to represent a bona fide British team and the first to be widely dubbed the 'Lions', after the nickname was used by journalists during the 1924 tour of South Africa. Lead by England's Doug Prentice and managed by James Baxter the tour took in 28 matches, seven in Australia and 21 in New Zealand.

1961
The Wallabies began their third tour of South Africa with a 14-all draw against South West Africa in Windhoek. Michael Cleary, Beres Ellwood and Ed Magrath score tries and "Sparrow" Dowse lands a conversion and penalty for the tourists.

1958
France caused an upset by holding the Springboks 3-3 at Cape Town in their first Test match played on South African soil.

1961
The balanced running of right-wing André Boniface brought him two tries for France in their 22-9 tour win against Bay of Plenty at Rotorua.
