Argentinean lock Galarza signed for Leinster in the summer of 2010 but left later in the season to ply his trade for the Argentine side Pampas XV who were taking part in the Vodacom Cup.
Bringing a dynamism to the Argentinean second-row, Galarza - a student of medicine - was a surprise call-up to the Pumas squad for the 2008 tour to Europe. Having made three starts thus far for the Pumas, Galarza will hope to add to his tally during the forthcoming World Cup having been named in the Argentinean 30-man squad for the tournament.
