Kimlin broke through for his first international caps against Italy in 2009 after gaining valuable experience in the Wallabies team environment on the 2008 end-of-year tour, representing Australia against the Barbarians at Wembley in December of that year.
One for the future, the lock burst into the ACT Brumbies' starting XV in 2007 and impressed during an Australia 'A' team's campaign through the 2008 Pacific Nation's Cup tournament.
The tall redhead, part of an emerging generation of more mobile forwards, has the ability to break the line as credible try-scoring record in Super Rugby.
